You had a last edit on March 1, but where are there anyway?
User talk:Evil Tim
Yo Evil Tim, aren't you there?
He is out after undoing a admin's edit on awful movies.
Well, we'll wait for them, i apologize for calling Forza 7 a good game due to have good ratings from the past, don't you think? do you anything to say for me?
Nah. He would have gotten banned anyways if he came back. He most likely forgot about us by now.
Drawn to Death
I recently made a page for this game since Sony is about to shutdown servers for the game. I noticed it needs more information.
Why you removing comment, boi?!
The comments are working again and we are discussing the block that has been issued on Mar9122's account. The offending accounts have been blocked and they aren't related to Mar9122.
We need people to express their opinions, that why it exist. I ain't going to use the discussion bar to make stupid comment.
Because it doesn't work anymore. The parser's sticking a space between comments and the forward slash, all you get is <comments /> and that doesn't do anything.
I strongly disagree your pathetic opinions! No wonder Chaofun hates you. FINE!!! I won't come back to this wiki, ever again, until you give me what I wanted. Bye!
Okay then, you asked for it.
And just when i thought he was being very useful on the rotten websites wiki only then i realized. (－‸ლ)
I can't help but feel User:Chaofun Rocks Evil Tim Trash is him again, since I doubt anyone else would care.
About removed part?
When you removed "It likely reason for the graphic downgrade was because it was on the Xbox 360/PS3 and lesser degree the Wii U, this game along with most early cross gen/handheld place 8th gen in mind titles where held back because this situation." for the Watch Dogs page why did you think I am just guessing as their is some truth to this that cross gen/handheld versions can hold back games with these YouTube videos/other sources!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tw55re7QTEM and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNDHAhBbP2E and https://youtu.be/-4_1sP8E0dg?t=293 and https://www.inquisitr.com/4435607/dragon-age-producer-wishes-they-had-done-things-more-like-the-witcher-3-and-went-all-in-on-next-gen/amp/ and https://wccftech.com/dragon-age-boss-inquisition-world-hollow/amp/ and https://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2015/03/30/how-much-has-destiny-been-held-back-by-xbox-360-and-ps3/amp/ and http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2014/09/sakurai_explains_reasoning_behind_removal_of_ice_climbers_from_super_smash_bros and https://nintendoeverything.com/sakurai-on-the-removal-of-character-transformations-in-smash-bros-wii-u3ds-online-lag/ and https://www.polygon.com/plat form/amp/2018/3/16/17123366/concept-teams-mizuguchi-ueda-sakaguchi about the Mighty No. 9 part, https://segmentnext.com/2016/09/07/how-unfinished-is-metal-gear-solid-v-the-complete-story/, and https://ia601601.us.archive.org/16/items/MBBPodcastEp159/MBBPodcastEp159.mp3 around the 34 to 38 minutes range. Can you read/watch these videos/articles to give your two cents if it true or not are just a myth?
The fact that it can hold back games doesn't mean that's what happened with this game. There's also plenty of cases in that generation of companies using bullshots and faked footage, like the first Homefront "gameplay" footage that was made entirely in a 3D rendering program with no game engine running under it.
But your two cents, was Watch Dogs really downgraded because of cross gen, or was it all faked, any proof? Also did you look at the links above and your two cents on the links?
I don't know which one it was or if it was either, that's why I didn't say.
So you did not take a look at the links above?
They don't know why either. All we know is that the trailer was running on a PC dev kit, we don't know if they ever intended for the release game to look like that.
So no one knows the answers then?
As proven with the Crowbcat video on Ubisoft, Ubisoft tends to downgrade the quality of their games no matter what type of system they're running on, even if the system is more than capable of running them at the state presented. And not just Ubisoft... other companies fake footage and increase game quality in promos to entice people to buy the game.
As for cross-gen games, most times what a company will do is just downgrade the earlier version or cut a couple features to make it work on the older system rather than compromise both versions. (Just take a look at Call of Duty: Black Ops III (PS3, XBOX 360) or the last-gen ports of Shadow of Mordor)
Yes their where exceptions during the early 8th gen that where not held back like Mordor case, but most of the early cross gen/handheld titles had parity during the late 2013 to 2016 period in particular?
That's such an oddly specific time period.
Why is it an "oddly specific time period."
Because out of all of the time periods you could have picked, you chose that generation, even thought it was not the only generation when things like this happened.
True to a lesser degree in the past, but the thing is many cross gen games where either completely different on last gen/handhelds or really crappy poor quality ports that could not hold a candle to the more advance next gen console versions, examples Game Boy Mortal Kombat, The Simpsons Game (PS2, PSP, Wii), etc. But the thing is that most people fail to realize is that 90% to 95% of the PS3/Xbox 360/3DS/PS Vita versions of PC/PS4/Xbox One/Wii U games where mostly full fat complete/identical ports save for a few exceptions (Call of Duty: Black Ops III (PS3, XBOX 360), the last-gen ports of Shadow of Mordor). Shows just how weird the early years of the 8th Gen was compared to the past, am I missing something? I mean this video explains it best: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KilrOyatGfc
90 - 95% is not an accurate statistic by any stretch of the imagination. It is more likely that the game would either be made exactly the same on other platforms because that's the nature of the game itself or the earlier gen versions would be downgraded rather than compromising both versions. Both seem way more logical.
Also, I'd advise against using ReviewTechUSA in arguments, as most of his videos are opinion pieces rather than genuine fact, and he's not a very reliable source in that regard.
But the thing is why where more PS3/Xbox 360/PS Vita/3DS versions of PC/PS4/Xbox One/Wii U games more faithful then previous gens as that was not the case prior to the 8th gen? Was it because the leap from 7th to 8th gen a small leap compared to the past gens? Or did they get lucky compared to the past?
The Reason I like linking ReviewTechUSA is because I like his videos and I agree with most of his work.
Also somewhat related, the god awful PC Master Race community on reddit loves to blame cross gen for bad PC ports such as Dead or Alive 5 Last Round. Are they a reliable source or no and why?
I can't say the same for Evil Tim, but I looked at the links and all I saw were a few examples of this happening. I personally doubt it was downgraded because of cross-gen and think it was more along the lines of "it's-cheaper-to-do-it-a-different-way" game design. E3 demos will always look better than the actual game, except for maybe 1 or 2 stand out instances, like with Doom (2016).
Your two cents on the links and do you agree with them or not?
You obviously didn't read what I said. What I said what you posted was only a few rare stand out instances when something like this has happened. What I think is more likely is that Ubisoft just downgraded the game because that's just what Ubisoft does. Also, you provided very little (if any) context with the links you posted, so there's nothing I can say beyond "you said most games and this is not most games" and there's no way to agree or disagree without context.
How to rephrase it?
For this part "They underestimate the difficulties of PC gaming and assume that anyone can do it when in reality PC has many hassles and can be too cumbersome for the average user such as viruses/malware/compatibility, etc." How should I rephrase it, any advice?
The issue I have with that is that viruses and malware aren't a difficultly of PC gaming unless you're pirating games, since the most likely way to get those is through your browser or email client, not through games. Indeed, most likely the only reason there aren't viruses for current-gen consoles is because it's still rare for people to use their console as a web browser. And what compatibility issues did you have, exactly?
An example of PC compatibility is the Cars 2 game: # "It doesn't function well on Windows 10." : Cars 2: The Video Game (PC)
Well I'd say that's more an issue of shoddy ports than anything. That's more on the developers, and it does also affect consoles (eg constant screen tearing on a lot of PS3 ports from Xbox 360 last gen).
About removed part and how should I rephrase it?
This part that was remvoed "They claim PC Gaming has no problems, yet things like viruses/malware/compatibility, etc can become a huge headache and turn people away from PC gaming." I think about the viruses/malware part should be mentioned in the "PC "Master" Race" page and how should it be said because these issues are what turn me of from PC gaming, any advice?
I don't really think anyone claims that, is the thing. Viruses and malware aren't really part of gaming per se (they're just part of using a PC in general for anything) and can also happen on other platforms (particularly phones), and you don't get out of compatibility problems by being on a console: quite aside from most consoles deliberately not being compatible with each other, there's even incompatibility within consoles sometimes, in particular the PS3 slim had issues with some early PS3 titles.
But issues like that are what discourage me from PC gaming so it has to be mentioned in some form?
Not really, what discouraged you isn't necessarily an objective problem with something. I can't get into Amnesia: The Dark Descent because the narrator's voice reminds me of the narrator from an old kids' cartoon and means I can't take the game seriously, but that's not an objective problem with the game and I'd never include it on a list of the game's legitimate shortcomings.
The big issue here is "they claim PC gaming has no problems." Who claims this? I don't think you'll find a single PC gamer who'd tell you there's no such thing as incompatibility (we've all had one of those graphics driver updates), usually they're too busy complaining about shoddy ports like Arkham Knight or games that lie about their own minimum specs like Just Cause 3 (have fun running that on less than 16 gigs of RAM, though that said JC3 ran awfully on everything when it came out). You certainly won't find any who think there's no such thing as viruses or malware.
If the title of the article was "why Sonicx9us isn't a PC gamer" then yes, listing those things would be fine, but you're rebutting a claim nobody would ever actually make in order to bring up your personal objections to the platform, and that really isn't what that article is about.
I am not Smelter The PTMC Robot
I am not that racist moron.
Good to know this.
What does "abject nonsense" mean? I saw that you undid my edit on the NFS MW 2012 article, but I'm not being mean to you. Also, I have found out that all blacklist cars are white. I hope you reply to this message and I hope you understand what I said.
Does the game suck because the cars are white? Does a racing game suck because it doesn't have a storyline? I don't recall that being a criticism of, say, the Gran Turismo series.
Listen to me, NFS MW 2005 has a storyline, but NFS MW 2012 should have been a sequel to the original Most Wanted. I don't like NFS MW 2012 because this game is a Burnout clone. So you better respect my opinion on that. Capiche?
Why is something you admit is your opinion being put on the page as an objectively negative point about the game?
Didn't you read what I said to you in 3 days ago?
As a thought experiment, imagine for a moment that I didn't find it very convincing.
I had it with this guy, he kept on inserting personal opinions into pages like they are his own. And when I tried to fix them he just adds them back. I blocked him for 3 days as a warning.
When people undo my stuff, I usually block them for a week or two.
Well, it looks like Neil didn't take being blocked very well:
He'll not be coming back anytime soon.
He'll never be coming back.
? (Not a mean message)
In the Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing article, how is my edit covered elsewhere?
Ugly graphics is point 11 (you could expand it, but both your points were basically extensions of "poor visuals"), and saying it's bad grammar isn't needed because of the (sic) afterwards that indicates an error in the quoted text.
Well, the graphics look unfinished in that game. Also, you didn't know this, but the 3 trucks Thunder, Megaone and Thunderbull resembles the Volvo NH12. And the Sunrise W12 resembles the Volvo FH12.
I am surprised to see that someone else uses "sic" in his sentences.
You know the article about the NEC PC-FX?
The reason why I used the phrase "This game is definitely not FX!" before you changed it is because I wanted to make a reference to the official Japanese TV ad for the console, where one of the "judges" says "The game is FX!"
We should Add more Pages of Games from TheMillz.
