Bad Qualities

  1. Ugly graphics for a PS1 game. Twisted Metal 1 and 2, while they haven't aged well, looked decent for the time.
  2. Long load times.
  3. Broken physics engine.
  4. Terrible handling.
  5. Bad endings which all end up horribly, as none of the playable drivers get what wish they wanted.
  6. Poor sound effects.
  7. The new characters are all bland and unlikable.
  8. Bad arena design.
  9. Bland vehicle design.
  10. Bad in-game dialogue.
  11. The character backstories are all very bland and uninteresting.

Good Qualities

  1. Good soundtrack like Rob Zombie's Meet the Creeper.
  2. While they haven't aged well the cutscenes looked decent for the time.
  3. Great voice acting from Calypso for the time.
  4. At least the AI is a improvement from its first two entries.
