Sega (2001-present) should be renamed Sega (1995-1997, 2001-present)

Ki mi tri (talkcontribs)

Sega of Japan frequently bullied Sega of America and the Sega Saturn launch (especially in NA) was an absolute disaster. Sega also missed an opportunity to work with Sony on the Playstation, which could have kept them in the console business. The mid to late 1990s was also when they began to milk Sonic the Hedgehog though this was cranked up in the mid 2000s.

I also propose 3 sections for the page: 'In General', 'Back Then', and 'Nowadays'

Yeah, I hear Sega of America was against the decision to do NFTs. Also, I think the title should just be Sega (1995-present). I don’t see how Sega recovered at all between 1997 and 2001.

They briefly had luck with the Dreamcast in 1998-2000. But then the PS2 showed up. The rest is history.

I agree

Goboy89 (talkcontribs)

maybe it should be renamed Sega (3rd party developer)

DeadPixel (talkcontribs)

That's just the same as "2001-present"
