Should we remove the comments section on all of this articles?

Originally, most of the articles here lacked comment sections due to the sensitive nature of the subjects. However, since I removed the comments section for Farmville Murder (it was just people basically trashing the woman like Satan, which isn't constructive in my opinion), someone restored the section by simply disagreeing and proceeded to add the comments section for every article here.

I think we need a discussion on this.

Don't worry. I already removed that comment section.

I bringed back due to there's no point to do this.

LA2002 (talkcontribs)

Dang it. I better leave that to an admin.

SpazJR61 (talkcontribs)

There's no point to do this and admins can delete comments.

Pretty much what SpazJR61 said. If someone posts an uncivilized or disrespectful comment, then it will be deleted. If we remove comments altogether, then the rational users will have to pay for something that's not their fault.

Sometimes an article becomes so controversial that's there's no easy way to cool down the flames by just deleting the comments.

SpazJR61 (talkcontribs)

But still, there's no reason to do this.
It just prevents anyone to make comments.
In Unnamedgoon's words when he locked a page just for vandalism: "We might as well just protect every page here going by that logic."

Whatever. I guess for a place meant for complaining, let the complaining.
