My Name is Mayo is a 2016 action game released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4. It was developed and published by Green Lava Studios.

The gameplay in My Name is Mayo is based solely on clicking a jar of mayonnaise. The game is also offering costumes or facts.

Why It Intentionally Sucks

  1. Unimaginable boring gameplay. All you do is click on a mayonnaise jar nonstop. That's the whole point of the game. Occasionally, you can get some costumes or facts.
  2. Horrendously easy achievements/trophies that pose absolutely no challenge. To get them, you need to do the activities mentioned earlier in WIS #1.
    • The achievements are so easy, you can do them all and STILL manage to get a refund on Steam.
  3. This is another game that was only made to exist as a farm of banal achievements/trophies.
  4. Non-existent replay value for the sake of unambitious gameplay and lack of content.
  5. It can make your thumbs to hurt by reaching 10,000 hits and worse sometimes the X or the TP button (PlayStation 4), the A Button (Xbox One) will not work and you're forced to buy another controller. It also damages your keyboard in case of playing in PC sometimes.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. Incredibly low price, which is the bait for an extremely easy trophies/achievements. It only costs $1.[1][2]

The game received extremely diverse reviews from critics. FingerGuns gave for My Name is Mayo a 1/10, GBAtemp gave a 5/10, and Digitally Downloaded gave 5/5 stars.[3]

On GameFAQs, the game received a 1.81 out of 5 for the PlayStation 4 version, 1.43 for the PC version, and 1.88 for Vita version.[4][5][6] Despite its poor reception, it is favored on Steam for its very easy achievements.[7]
