I'm sorry, but that is not how you hold the Proton Pack.

Predecessor: Ghostbusters: The Video Game

Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is a top down action-adventure game developed by Behavior Santiago and published by Atari in March 2011. It is the sequel to Atari's Ghostbusters: The Video Game. the game supports a multiplayer up to four players and has twelve levels.

Why It Sucks

  1. Reused visuals.
  2. The game is very hard once, then it is way too easy.
  3. Reviving your teammates is hard and annoying. You are better off waiting till the ghosts are all dead.
  4. Your teammates are terrible and will die a lot.
  5. None of the Ghostbusters characters are from the movie, or shows.
  6. The game is short (if you can get pass the eighth level) and can be completed in about 47 minutes.
  7. The boss fights are the easiest part of the game.
  8. The cut-screens are long, while you can skip them, it is actually the only break during the game. In fact, the Xbox 360 version has an achievement which is gained by watching all of the cut-screens without skip any part of them in order. They are also about 9 minutes long, so with 12 levels, that is 120 minutes, or two hours.
  9. Overused music.
  10. No voice acting.
  11. Boring environments.
  12. Stupid AI.
  13. Boring game play.
  14. Poor graphics.
  15. A person is shown holding the Proton Pack incorrectly on the cover itself; he is holding it upside down.
    • This was probably intentionally done to make the Proton Packs act or look like machine guns.
  16. poor variety of enemies and weapons.
  17. in level two, there is a glitch where if the player runs to the door on the top middle door, he will get stuck and not die so on one player, you will have to restart the level.

The game received mostly negative reviews, with IGN giving the game a 4.5 (Bad) out of 10. The Xbox 360 version has a score of 47.17% on GameRankings and a 45 out of 10 on Metacritic, while the PlayStation 3 version has a score of 42.17% and a 43 out of 100 and the PC version has a score of 38.25% and a 42 out of 100, respectively.
