Whoopee Camp was a shortlived video game company that was responsible for creating the Tomba! series which consisted of Tomba!/Tombi! and Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return/Tombi! 2. They were also the only games they made.

It was created in 1997 and run by Tokuro Fujiwara, who was famous for creating Megaman and Ghosts and Goblins.

It went defunct in 2000 when the Tomba! games failed to sell well, despite being critically acclaimed by game critics. Most of the employees left Whoopee Camp and joined with Access Games.

Because of the shutting down of Whoopee Camp, physical copies of the Tomba! games are very rare and sell at very high prices. Thankfully, they sell digital copies of the games on PSN.
