DT Racer is a racing game developed by Axis Entertainment and published by XS Games for the PlayStation 2 in 2005.

Why It Sucks

1. The game falls into the trap of style over substance.
2. Bad car handling.
3. Poor controls.
4. Narrow tracks combine with poor visibility (particularly on the nighttime tracks) to make crashing into obstacles very easy to do.
5. Boosting causes the steering to lock.
6. You'll run out of gas a lot.
7. Generic soundtrack.

Redeeming Qualities

1. Decent graphics.

Reception

IGN gave the game a 3.2 out of 10, stating that players would be infinitely better off buying Gran Turismo 3. Mark L. Bussler of Classic Game Room was similarly critical of the title. It also has a user score of 1.50 on GameFAQs.
