Colin McRae Rally is a rally racing video game developed and published by Codemasters. It was originally released for iOS mobile devices in June 2013, and then ported to Android devices and OS X and Windows personal computers (PCs) in 2014.
Why It Sucks
Uninteresting presentation on the menu.
Bad graphics even by 2013 standards. It looks like an early PS2 game and a late PS1 game. The trees and grass look like they're made out of cardboard.
Speaking of graphics, the car models look undetailed.
Very sensitive controls.
The damage models look unrealistic.
False Advertising: On the game's Steam page it says that it's an HD remake of Colin McRae Rally 2.0. But when you play it you found out that it's a port of the mobile game. It also says that for its critically acclaimed handling and physics but they're both unrealistic. Plus, it's a downgraded version of the original 2000 release!
Very limited number of cars to drive (4).
Even using the controller you have to customize everything.
The only way to change the camera is on the camera settings.
The car models look nice.
The menu music is good.
At least it gives players a chance to relive their nostalgia on mobile phones, despite the flaws mentioned above.
