Visual novels which often use often manga or anime-based artwork can be quite fun to interact in with their book-like stories. But here, this is not the case.

NOTE: To be considered a visual novel hybrid (a visual novel which combines gameplay from different genres) there most be long, uninterrupted reading sequences with proper narration. Games which have simply tons of dialogue and/or visual novel sprites in cutscenes do not qualify.
