Borderlands 2 is a first person shooter game that was released for various platforms in 2012. It was later ported to the PlayStation Vita in 2014 by Iron Galaxy Studios.

This article will focus only on the PlayStation Vita version.

Why It Used To Suck

  1. Horrendous framerate with the game not even able to reach 30FPS, thus causing difficulties when aiming.
  2. The co-op mode is only 2 players as opposed to up to 4 (as seen on the original version).
  3. The graphics looks like a 3DS or a late PSP game.
  4. Frequent freezes and crashes (although patches later came to mitigate some of the problems) .
  5. Some of the DLCs can't be purchased or played on the Vita version.
  6. It shares the same trophy list with the PS3 version, and the DLC that isn't in the Vita version has trophies, therefore tricking trophy hunters who bought the Vita version into buying the PS3 version as well.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. It costs $20, and it has most of the DLCs, making it the cheapest version.
  2. Has cross save with the PS3 version.
  3. the game was patched and it's now improved a lot (though it still has bugs).

"the game was patched and it's now improved a lot (though it still has bugs)."

Shouldn't this be on AGW then?

After these patches, it's not necessary to make a page because we already have one about the entire game. There's nothing more to say about this port, which is barely different from the original release. We should only change a heading from "Why It Sucks" to "Why It Used to Suck".

Maybe the reason why this port is so broken is because the Gearbox employees/programmers/developers were drunk during development and Randy Pitchford was too busy jacking off to "Magic Tricks" on his USB stick.

You just ruined your comment. Iron Galaxy Studios were drunk, making this excuse of a port.
