Miraheze The Game (misspelled as Miraheze The Gmae) is a first-person shooter video game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. The game was initially released worldwide on August 21, 2023 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a next day release for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. At January 1, 2024, a Nintendo Switch version would also be released. It was eventually released for Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux on January 6, 2024. The game is based from the visual novel Reception Wikis: Fate of The World.

In 2026, Miraheze The Game received a live-action film adaptation entitled Miraheze The Game: The Movie of the Game – The Movie.

Also in 2026, it will be packed in the Miraheze The Game Collection.

Main Game (Battle for The Reception Wikis)

The game takes place after the events of the Season 4 Finale of the visual novel. It's 2077, and Grust is the only survivor left of the Karen pandemic, at least that's what he thinks. As the player progresses through the story, it turns out that other survivors, most notably the veterans of the Reception Wikis such as Rath460, DeciduousWater534, ItMeansNothing, NeedsMoreJPEG, EijiZeBoi, Zeephare, Glitchedblood, TakeASoda, Vauban, Portrock1566, and XXSeph MySpaceXx have been around too. United together, one by one, their goal is to fight the trolls and Karens, while dealing with their own personal goals, fears, and pasts.

Isle of Edgy Nostalgia DLC

Between in the night, a mysterious woman named "Nora The Sorcerer", appears at the pier looking for someone, then Grust saw and started to talk her, Nora talked that a evil user named "LeroyManTheFirst", has lurked an island called "BitterEDGE Isle". Grust decided to travel to the island and find what's inside the edgiest depths of BitterEDGE Isle.

Crown of Dexit DLC

After Inkster got banished from the country, he decided to go to his frozen tundra, where Calyrex lives, he ordered to Calyrex to make an army of 10.000 whiny cyber-vandals to take over not just the whole North America, but the entire America, Europe, Kingstan and Gransys. Calyrex do not want to cause conflicts or a drama war, but Inkster pulled a gun into Calyrex's head, with a Infinity Glove that he stole from Thanos, so Calyrex started to build an machine that produces countless of whiny cyber-vandals.

Florida Man Adventures DLC

After eating a crocodile burger (with extra grape jelly and cake slices as the bread), DeciduousWater534 suddenly got a glimpse of what the future would look like. During the glimpse, he discovered that Game Freak's upcoming Pokémon game, Pokémon Democrat and Republican, would cause the game industry to crash and remain dead for the next 57 years because of how utterly terrible the game was. Knowing he couldn't live without any new Country Justice and Ride to Hell games for the next 57 years, DeciduousWater534 sets out to stop Junichi Masuda (who is actually Todd Howard in disguise) from allowing the game to be published.

Remains of the Outcast Network DLC

Through lurking around, Grust manages to find out about a plan to revive Mar9122 and the outcast network through Horrible Music and Songs Wiki on Miraheze. After telling the crew, they must travel to the Horrible Music and Songs Wiki main server to shut it down forever. However, Inkster has come back stronger than ever, with multiple sockpuppet accounts that he managed to get to the Administrator status.

Why It Sucks

  1. Just like Anthem, it's an online-only game, but this time, unless if you have some extremely good quality internet, it heavily damages your Internet router. Some people are claiming to have paid over 1,000 dollars worth of their Internet bill since their routers can no longer work due to the game using up so much Internet.
  2. The game suffered through development hell big time. Originally, the game was going to announce its early concepts as a Sega Mega Drive/Genesis exclusive in 1993, but the game was announced in 2001 as an GameCube exclusive started production around 2006 as a PlayStation 3 exclusive, with a bunch of ideas being pitched in. So much that EA couldn't keep up with the ideas, and it wasn't until 2008 that they found one good idea. However, they shelved the game until 2010 and hired the BioWare team to start developing the game, where they began making the game's design around levels and character designs, but the game didn't really start production until 2017, and was intended to be released in 2019 before being pushed to 2020, before being pushed again to 2023 after the developers seemingly gave up on developing the game for a year.
  3. The Single-Player campaign story is nothing but a generic "Last people on Earth" story that follows the same elements as usual.
    • Not helping the fact that the production crew behind The Rain and Daybreak have actually teamed up and wrote the script.
    • The plot is also extremely absurd and extremely cringe-worthy, with many awkward or/and cringe moments.
      • At the beginning of the game, Grust is seen peeing on his PlayStation 3 (fortunately, it still worked) and says "Feels good, bruh".
      • When Wage (also known as ItMeansNothing) is found, he says "My cat is actually a mouse!".
      • When Stelios (AKA TakeASoda) is introduced to the game, he quickly starts shoving references related to The Snatcher from A Hat in Time after his first line of dialogue, which feels quite forced, despite his obsession with said character being part of his personality.
      • Similarly to Stelios, Seph usually spends her screentime making Battle For Dream Island references, which can also feel forced at times.
      • When Zeephare appears in this masterclass of gaming industry, he shares his terrible opinions in poorly-done cutscenes, for example, claiming that Włatcy móch is a lousy Polish clone of South Park, despite such a large and the most reliable critic like Snesboy12, claims that it is a masterpiece 10/10 with no flaws whatsoever. Which means, despite living in Poland, he hates something from his country, which makes him anti-patriot.
      • Most scenes revolving around Eiji has him dancing to K-Pop and praising Tenya Iida from the My Hero Academia anime and Avatar: The Last Airbender, which is a shameless pop-culture reference.
      • In the Hunt Down The YandereDev DLC, there's a cutscene where YandereDev has explicit uncensored sex with his Mai Waifu body pillow! Sony hypocritically left this moment unchanged in the PS5 version.
      • Perhaps the most biggest offender is how every character is revealed to have at least murdered one of their family members, which makes no sense, because after being mentioned, nobody cares about the events and moves on from that. THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A MAJOR PLOT POINT!
      • Pointless appearances from other characters go on and drag on forever.
      • The infamous "Say Chum Chum without the 2 H" line!
  4. Awful PS2-looking graphics, even on the ninth generation consoles. Even members of the Reception Wikis like Stelios and Vauban admitted how garbage the game looks, with Stelios even saying that it looks like a rejected PS2 game that they decided to release it in the future.
  5. The framerate is on-par with Yandere Simulator.
  6. Horrible character development through many of the main characters. Some examples:
    • Grust (already a psychopath) is a terrible protagonist.
  7. Big Changoose: The Chapter, one of the main DLC for the game, while amazing, should have been in the base game, but due to executive meddling from EA, it got reduced to a DLC. What's worse, that said DLC is longer than the base game itself.
  8. SephSpace, a DLC based on the wiki of the same name where you play as its owner Seph, is horribly rushed with a weak story that rehashes some elements from the base game. It also only takes 30 minutes to complete!
  9. Another DLC, Savior Of Gaming: A TakeASoda Story, despite being really good in terms of gameplay and amounts of gore, it's extremely controversial, as it revolves around Stelios trying to find and kill targets in order to (and we quote from Stelios in game) "save the Gaming Industry from these disgusting practices.". The targets are also real people, including Strauss Zelnick (the infamous CEO of Take-Two who would go as far as exploiting children to gain extra profits) and Doug Bowser (CEO of Nintendo Of America, who took their Anti-Consumer practices beyond terrible), which Stelios either simply scolds, or straight up demonizes them. And the ways he kills his targets are either too extreme, or downright disturbing. His personality has drastically changed, making him into a psychopath with no remorse to his targets, something that he isn't potrayed in the vanilla game and visual novels, and makes him look more like a discount Grust. In fact, the DLC is so controversial and out of place, that Stelios declared it as Non-Canon to the Reception Wikis lore and TakeASoda arc.
  10. Horribly unresponsive controls. The Xbox One version is the worst offender, as a majority of the button inputs have an hour long delay.
  11. The cover art itself just sucks. Not only was the graphic designer unable to spell the "Game" word correctly, it also looks as if it was created in Microsoft Paint by an underdone monkey from Walmart.
  12. WillG8686 is an absolutely horribly-done final boss, possibly one of the worst in video game history. His tactic is based on the use of a weapon he stole from Dr. Doofenshmirtz called the Sockpuppet-inator, which is used to create new accounts under different names. Another of his weak points and quite noticeable that he is most often in his homes, mainly under the WWE 2K, Pokemon, and The Sims brands, or anything related to Flash, so the protagonists have no problem finding him. He also uses the VisualEditor weapon, which is as powerful as sewage soap. At the end of the fight, when the protagonists catch him, WillG goes to the office, creating a discussion that it is not him, writing fake first and last names, date of birth, and in 0.00001% chance, even the address of the apartment.
  13. All of the missions give terrible rewards for completing them. The most notorious example is being rewarded a 100ft tall statue of Swampert in the hub area after completing the final storyline mission in the Florida Man Adventures DLC, which makes navigating through the hub area even more tedious than it already was.
  14. Due to being based off his Superman 64 version, Superman's boss fight is stupidly very easy as he has to gain his powerups, and they never show up until 4 minutes into the fight, which means you will likely have dealt the finishing blow. But before the fight starts, you must drink a potion that allows you to fly, but only so that you are forced to fly through the rings.
    • In Free Play mode, if you play as The Angry Video Game Nerd, Superman will be instantly defeated. Talk about being overpowered!
  15. The Negativitron, Sephiroth, Palpatine, Thanos, and Dio Brando boss battles are extremely frustrating.
    • The Negativitron, while reminiscent of the final battle in LittleBigPlanet 2, he is fueled by Dr. Doofenshirmtz's OP-inator, which makes him 4x more powerful. The character you fight him as is very unfitting, you expect to fight him as Sackboy, but you instead fight him as, get this, the Nostalgia Critic.
      • Doug Walker (the Nostalgia Critic's voice actor) confirmed EA made BioWare do this just because their names start with N.
  16. The game has a completely unforgivable monetization system for a game that costs $125, where it is filled with microtransactions, including lootboxes, and even a Gacha system, making Miraheze The Game completely unplayable. For each level you complete you must pay at least 500,000 Bobux, to get this money you are forced to grind for 125 hours.
  17. Horrid voice acting from both the Miraheze users and the VAs of the other characters. The Snatcher (voiced by Luke Sizemore) doesn't have the same charm when comparing him to A Hat in Time, Stelios (despite his best efforts to do give a good result) either sounds bored, or like he was drunk, Grust sounds like his braincells were getting killed during recording, and many characters seem kinda confused when talking, like as their VAs wonder why they do this.
  18. Inkster is considered one of the worst bosses ever in the game (as the DLC), even worse than Ur-Dragon, WillG8686 and LeroyManTheFirst. He has 15 billion HP and takes forever, thankfully, Conqueror's Periapts can double your damage to able to defeat faster.
  19. The Multiplayer Mode, even if it was a nice addition, lacked content at launch, with only basic modes like Deathmatch (alongside with Team Deathmatch) and Capture The Flag.
  20. Despite asked by many to improve the game, EA takes only a few to none suggestions from people and do whatever they want. One of the updates they released was to add a Battle Royale Mode (here known as the Island of Fate Mode), just only to cash-in to the success of Fortnite, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, and generally the entire Battle Royale genre.
  21. The song that plays when you get a Game Over is just a shitty half-assed cover of the infamous "You Are Dead" Game Over song from Total Distortion! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!?
  22. The Florida Man Adventures DLC doesn't even include any famous Florida men like Penguinz0 or Poofesure.
  23. There are some DLCs that are essentially pointless. For example, there is the Greek Talker DLC, that all it does is literally make Stelios speak in Greek through the entire duration of the Campaign. It's cool and all, but it's literally DLC. Oh, and you have to pay for it, although it's kinda cheap (5€/5$).
  24. The Extras you unlock when meeting specific requirements in the Campaign are disappointing, as they are either nothing too special, or outright ridiculous. One example is the Extra you unlock when you fully befriend Stelios with any character. That Extra is literally a video of Stelios Singing to Friday Night from Yakuza 0 in front of his PC with the loading screen art for the Chapter 3 Finale Your Contract Has Expired from A Hat in Time as his wallpaper. How is that considered as an Extra?!
  25. The Remains of the Outcast Network DLC had several freezing issues when it first came out, especially near the Horrible Music and Songs Wiki main server.
  26. The final boss of the Remains of the Outcast Network DLC, requires the player to find several items, which the game doesn't tell you about.
  27. Speaking of the Remains of the Outcast Network DLC, it focuses way too much on Horrible Music and Songs Wiki, and rarely acknowledges the rest of the outcast network.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. After suffering through the 30 minute loop of the GrubHub Delivery Dance ad, you can unlock and play Mr. Krabs Overdoses on Ketamine And Dies after you beat the game.
  2. Its DLCs, Big Changoose: The Chapter, Hunt Down The YandereDev, The Ballad of Electronic Arts, Savior Of Gaming: A TakeASoda Story (despite being extremely controversial) Reception Wikis: The Origins, and Criterion's All Burnt Out are a massive improvement over the base game, with most of them actually retaining the personalities of the characters from the visual novel and introducing new gameplay mechanics that are really fun.
  3. EA has surprisingly managed to get companies to have their franchises in the game. This means you can play as other characters from many franchises, like Steve from Minecraft, Crazy Dave from Plants vs. Zombies (albeit only in The Ballad of Electronic Arts DLC), and Red from Angry Birds. What? You want more? Then how about Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima, Hat Kid, The Snatcher, Captain Price, all of the Operators from Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, XIII (from the game named XIII), Super Mario, Sonic The Hedgehog, and a lot of other famous characters!
  4. The gameplay is surprisingly really solid and has a lot of depth in it, as you have to choose characters that fit your style and the mission. And yes, all characters are totally different and have their own combat styles, skills, and how they will engage in combat, which in result, affects each character's stats.
    • The combat styles are:
      • All-Round: The Jacks of All Trades. Good at every style, but Master of none. Perfect for players who want to try getting the hang of things in the game.
      • Gunslinger: These characters are the masters of weapons, having great accuracy and deal some extra damage with guns. They also have a slightly easier learning curve, as they can get a small boost on EXP they get when using their weapons.
      • Slasher: They prefer going close and personal, not hesitating to use any close-quarters weapon like Katanas or pistols.
      • Stealth: The shadows, lurking behind their enemy, prefer to avoid conflict and take down enemies from behind. They may be kinda weak in comparison to other characters, but they can blend so well, that they cannot even be seen by enemies if used correctly.
    • As for approach, they are:
      • All-Round: What you expect as before. The Jacks of All Trades. Good at every approach, but Master of none.
      • Aggressive: They will push forward and attack with no hesitation, despite risking themselves. Great for players who want to go All-Out
      • Defensive: They will rather go into a defensive state, trying to protect their teammates. Great for players who don't wanna get killed in battle fast and want to help their buddies.
      • Technique/Trickster: Instead of either going Aggressively or Defensively, they will instead use tricks and tactics in order to get the upper hand. Great for players who want to think outside of the box and change the tides of a Battle.
    • The game also has a Branching Paths mechanic, which, unlike games like Mass Effect: Andromeda, Life is Strange, or even all Telltale Games where your decisions don't matter, each decision here actually matters. Even the smallest ones can have serious consequences in the future and determine what you are. Not only that, but there are multiple Endings that are determined on all your choices you made, meaning that this mechanic is essentially Life or Death. One wrong move can literally pull you off to a worse Ending.
  5. Some moments in the game are actually really well executed.
    • Stelios' introduction is really well done. Instead of being an unfunny joke once a character is revealed, it's instead an insanely epic moment where he kills a bunch of Karens with dual Dessert Eagles, before pulling out a Scar-L, while listening to Radio Ga Ga by Queen on his headphones. His first line of dialogue ("Don't ask me how I could do this. After all, Video Games help with increasing your reflexes!") is also good.
  6. Despite being a cash-in, Island of Fate is a fun Battle Royale game that has some variety. You can play as any the characters from the main game, and best of all (due of demand by the Reception Wiki users), you don't need to pay for anything in this mode! All characters are unlocked either by playing the mode and progressing, or unlocking the characters in the Campaign Mode!
  7. Surprisingly, it's one of the few games that support Greek text and subtitles, a language that is utilized in only a few games like God Of War (2018), minus the Greek Talker DLC.

To nobody's surprise, they game received extremely negative reception from critics around the entire galaxy. Some consider the game worse than Uganda Knuckles, CODID-19, and 9/11 memes.

Tony Hawkard of IGNorant gave a 0.1/10, saying "This game makes you want to ask one thing - What the fuck is this shit? Why would someone release this fucking carcass to this planet?"

CrackSpot's P. Ennis gave for Miraheze The Game a 2/10, describing the game "piece of EA's shite. If you are playing this game, just EAT SHIT&DIE."

The Aggressive Shovelware Game Otaku declared that Miraheze The Game "broke the piece of shit scale".

By Japanese players, the game is referred to as "Kusoge", which means "shitty game".

Anger Joe Mama for the first time ever gave the rating of 0/10.

Anurag Dikshit of HornyReviews says that the game literally sucks balls, giving a rating of 9 cocks out of 10.

On GameFAGs, the game holds a score of 0.35 out of 5 stars.

The game sold extremely badly as it only managed to sell 12 copies in a few years, that is, until the movie was released.

  • The original name of the boss, WillG8686, was to be called Yoshikage Kira, but because he's such a brain-dead, the developers from BioWare thought to simply switch to WillG8686.
  • Just recently, an unknown developer of the game leaked some files that were made during the development hell. You can check it out in the gallery.
  • There was gonna be a PS6 port of the game, which was cancelled due to negative reception.

WG8686/Willg8686 would be the final boss in the Original Vanilla game.
LeroyManTheFirst would be the final boss in the Isle of Edgy Nostalgia DLC.

Spoilers for all. Big Changoose finished Will by calling him pathetic, with Leroyman Grust sent him to the shadow realm and with Inkster Changoose dramatically scolds him for being a jerk to healthy natdexers.

Unlike WG8686/Willg8686, LeroyManTheFirst has 2 forms, one is the normal form and the other one when he dies, is the the awakened form, which starts to spam High Maelstrom and High Seism. But Inkster in the other hand, he has more HP than the Online Ur-Dragon on PlayStation 3. In January 13, 2021, the Ur-Dragon has 3.757.320.000HP, but Inkster has 15 billion HP. So you have to bring alot of Conqueror's Periapts and Demon's Periapts.

In Hunt Down The YandereDev DLC, you play as SpazJR61. Your main objective is hunt down YandereDev and force him to finish his game.

TheGameSleuth, DrApeis, Nikocado Avocado and more are appear as bosses. You can destroy Inkster and Leroy again in this mod. There's a ton of funky weapons that came from a Korean-FPS game, like the E-Mail Minigun.

In the SephSpace DLC, you play as Seph (duh). The objective is to keep the vandals, lolcows, and narsties away from SephSpace. The bosses are Onision, Dahvie Vanity, Spain is so strange, and two other lolcows I shall not reveal the name of yet (one being the final boss).

After the first game that was released in 2023. In 2024 (The year that takes place in my future games). It will come a prequel called Miraheze The Game: The Toxic Island. Then, in 2025. It will come a sequel called; Miraheze The Game II. Then in 2026. It will come a collection that has the original trilogy, called; Miraheze The Game: Collection and in 2027, it will come a prequel of the prequel; Miraheze The Game: Adventure, for the PS5, PS6, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox Max X/S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Duo.

Fun Fact: This game order was based from my future games. But The Toxic Island that takes place before the first game, in my future games, it is called The Mad Island that takes place after the first game.
